Station North Arts Festival (SNAF)
SNAF is an opportunity for children to express their talent and gifts through drawing, painting, and clay sculptures. SNAF supports local public schools and their art programs. We want to challenge and equip children to express their creativity through their God-given talent for the arts. We select a theme each year to challenge the students to create visual images or demonstrations of art. The artwork is then showcased and celebrated with schools, communities, friends, and families at a one-day art festival.
The 5th Annual Station North Art Festival was held on May 14, 2011.
This year we had over 300 submissions from youth from 18 Baltimore
City Schools. We had several exhibitors participate in the event.
Among them were The National Aquarium in Baltimore, Port Discovery,
Blacks in Wax Museum, Creative Alliance, Baltimore Clayworks and
Utrecht Art Supply.
