Rock City Church

We, as a church, have learned what it means to entertain the presence of God. We have found that place in Him, and our pursuit in every service is to worship Him with our whole hearts, inviting Him to come in all His glory. We come hungry, we come desiring, and He shows up time after time. The worship team and band members are true worshippers, seeking only an "audience of One." We delight in the fact that we, as a church, are known for the "presence of God."

"Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, praise Him with tambourine and dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:3

The worship ministry is made up of RCC members who are gifted and talented in the creative and technical arts, and who are anointed by the Holy Spirit. They minister by expressing the heart of God to the body of Christ. The creative ministries worship God with the voice, the musical instrument, the dance, the writing of Holy Spirit inspired songs, poems, stories and scripts, the production of plays, dramas, musicals and special events and any classical or modern creative gift which ministers to an Audience of One.

The technical ministries engineer sound reinforcement, create audio tape and digital CD recordings, television programming, video production, graphic arts and animation, computer lighting programs and special effects to enhance, magnify, and document the move of God in Baltimore at Rock City Church. Together we sing and worship through the many songs that have been birthed here since January 19th, 1997. Our purpose is to minister to Jesus, to delight the very heart of God with our praise and worship, and to draw Him even nearer, closer than ever before. We not only want to "entertain the Presence of the Lord" but to "detain" the Presence of God in our midst.
