Compassion Network is now over 270 organizations
strong, nationally and internationally, and growing!
The network consist of Christian Faith Practitioners
doing various community outreach ministries and
projects around the world. Their mission statement
speaks their heart:
“We,
the members of the Body of Christ, seeking to bring
the Kingdom of God to our cities for the benefit
of all, especially the poor, commit this day to
practice the Biblical indictments of humility, justice,
charity, reconciliation, sacrificial service, and
community development as found in Isaiah 58.”
Sharing our hearts, gifts, resources, contacts,
ideas, skills, and talents, our common goal is
to serve Christ, one another, and our communities.
Member ministries in the GCN network focus on
restoring and empowering people one by one. They
desire to bring their dreams into reality by the
grace of God and the love and service of His people.
GCN includes some of the most notable ministries
in the world such as Operation
Blessing, Somebody
Cares America, and World
Harvest, as well as those just breaking
new ground. These organizations are passionate
about reaching their communities beyond church
walls. By tying these organizations together,
they all become stronger. Together they share
a wealth of knowledge and experience with one
another as well as physical resources.
