A
Can Can Make A Difference
(CCMAD), the feeding arm of Adopt-A-Block, Inc.,
was established to help eliminate hunger in the State
of Maryland. On January 23, 1992, war was declared
on hunger. Since that day, outreach centers, soup
kitchens, churches, and local government agencies
have banded together to feed the poverty-stricken
residents of Baltimore City and the State of Maryland.
To date, A Can Can Make A Difference serves more than130
agencies, including shelters, soup kitchens, church
and agency pantries. We have hundreds of volunteers
serving as a focused and dedicated army. Together,
they help meet the diversified needs of those in our
communities.
Our operation has expanded, and to increase our momentum,
CCMAD began working with the Childrens Hunger
Fund, Operation Compassion, and Gifts in Kind to receive
truckloads of clothing and toys. Through these partnerships
and others, CCMAD has been able to feed, clothe, and
bring smiles to the faces of thousands of people.
