COVER
ME
IN THE
DAY OF BATTLE
Order
Now
Life
is full of daily battles. Why do good Christian soldiers—pastors,
leaders, intercessors, and others—lose some
of those battles? Is it possible that they fail to
reach their greatest potential because they go to
battle without the covering of a spiritual father?
In this day of do-it-yourselfism, Bishop Bart Pierce
says it’s time to address our need for fathers—both
spiritual and natural. It’s God’s desire
and the groan of the world for mature sons to come
forth.
Fathers, arise now, and raise up sons. Sons, arise,
and get your heads covered, and let’s go to
battle under the covering of God and our fathers.
Then the curse of fatherlessness will be broken, and
sons will turn to fathers and fathers will turn to
sons, so that the Church can be the force God created
it to be.

Bishop
Bart Pierce is senior pastor of Rock City Church in
Baltimore, MD, and has pioneered several Ministries
of Compassion for the poor, former drug addicts, and
women in crisis. He is president of Peace for the
City, a coalition of Baltimore pastors, and co-founder
of Global Compassion Network. He oversees churches
in the United States, Ukraine, Ghana, and Madagascar,
and appears frequently on Christian television. He
has been married for 36 years to his wife Coralee,
who is also his faithful associate in ministry. They
have three children, a daughter-in law and a son-in-law,
and five grandchildren.

Here’s
what leaders are saying about Cover Me in the Day
of Battle:
“One statement is worth the price of the book:
‘Our goal is not finding the perfect father,
nor finding perfect people to follow us. Our goal
is to receive the Father’s blessing wherever
we are, under the covering where God has placed us,
and to be fathers.’ . . . [Bishop Bart Pierce]
has done a great favor for the Body of Christ in this
book. I think it is the best thing he has ever written.”
PASTOR
CHARLES GREEN
President, Harvest Ministries To The World
Founding Pastor of Faith Church, New Orleans, Louisiana
“Get
ready for a fascinating read from someone who, like
Jesus, has authority with vulnerability. The hardest
thing you will experience in reading Cover Me In The
Day Of Battle is that you won’t want to stop
reading once you start.”
APOSTLE
JOHN KELLY
Founder and Overseeing Apostle
Antioch Churches and Ministries
“Bishop
Pierce’s penetrating study is born out of a
consistent walk of accountability with proven men
of God... This book can be a manual for those looking
for a model and for those who are seeking affirmation
for what they have come to believe is an essential
idea for those without any kind of authority structure.”
Bishop
Joseph L. Garlington, Sr
Senior Pastor, Covenant Church of Pittsburgh.
