Rock
City Church has been established on and adheres strongly
to the principles of the local Church as defined in
the New Testament. It is through the God-appointed
leadership that the saints are taught, nurtured, trained,
and brought to maturity in Christ. Church responsibility
and personal relationships are developed in the local
church, and opportunity is given for all members to
find their giftings and placement in God's family.
The local body of believers is to demonstrate both
the message and ministry of Jesus Christ to the world
around them.
The
Bible says that we are to enter His gates with thanksgiving
and come into
His courts with praise. Worship is a vital part of
our service each time we come
together, and we invite those who come to join with
us in celebration as we set
our hearts on God and joyfully worship our Lord in spirit
and in truth.
To
us, studying the Bible is of utmost importance because
it has the answer for
every question in life. We believe the Bible is the
inerrant, living Word of God
and that it is able to transform our lives. Join with
us as we read it, study it and
put it into practice in our daily lives.

Place for the Whole Family

At
Rock City Church there is a place for everyone, from
newborn infants to
"seasoned warriors". We have ministries for
every age group. We desire to
minister to the entire family, and there is a place
for you here!

Place Where Love is in Action
|
Just
as faith without works is dead, we believe God's love
is expressed by what
we do. Our outreaches include ministries to inner city
adults and youth, the
homeless, and the city jails. We also work with missions
overseas as well as the
needs of our congregation.

|
We
believe that Rock City Church is a place of training
for Christian service. God's
Word clearly states that the church leadership is to
train the people for the work of the
ministry. We are a church that will challenge you to
grow and to fulfill God's highest
purpose for your life.

educate the believer
in the doctrines and practices of this local assembly.
All those desiring to
become active members in the Rock City Church Family
must complete this
