Ekklesia: Absalom and Judas | March 8, 2020 Episode 2

The planting of God is what makes you grow up. It’s what gets you the nutriments. It’s what gives you stability. It’s what gives you a substance and you get fruit! Some people have no fruit in their life because they never took time to get planted into a local church.

“Stand therefore (hold your ground) having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and moral rectitude and right standing with God, and having your feet shod with the preparation (to face the enemy with a firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news) of the Gospel of peace.”

I want you to know something. The shoes they wore had six-inch spikes on them. When they got into a war, what they did… It was only a certain kind of the soldiers. They had a certain kind of armor made out of leather and their shields were oiled and they had a clip and they locked them up and you couldn’t get through them. They took their feet and they wedged them in till they got them down in the ground. You could hit them and they’d just bend back and come right back up. You couldn’t move them. God says, “Always be unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.” Some of you need to get your feet down and say, “Come on! Bring it on! I can’t be moved! No emotion! No feeling! No disappointment! No frustration! None of that junk moves me. I’m locked in!”

You better hear me! We’re in a battle. “Lift up over the covering shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked one.” Does this sound like war to you? Let me jump over, because if you keep reading it… You’ve got to have that sword. It’s the Word of God. You’ve got to have all those pieces. I want to get you where you can hear me.

This is very important! As we identify the personality of these different spirits, the one I want to talk to you about, today, and where I’m going to finish, is that I’m going to talk to you about Absalom. I’ve talked to you about five major demonic spirits that are loosed on the earth. A lot of churches, today, refuse to talk about these spiritual things. They won’t talk about Hell. They treat it like it’s a fairy land. They won’t talk about these demons because they live with them. We’re more worried about offending the devil than we are offending God’s people or offending the Lord.

Worshipping from the Secret Place | November 24, 2019 Episode 3

If you ask any Christian or good church going person, ask them this question. Do you love Jesus? What would be the answer? “Well, sure! Absolutely! Yes! I got to church. I love Jesus!” But, watch this. Words alone will not stand the light of His Word. For, Jesus himself said two distinct things will be revealed if we really love Him. I’m going to show it to you two things in John 14 that are evidence that you really love the Lord. If these two evidences are not revealed in your life, then your love for Jesus is in word alone and not in deed and in truth. I’ll show it to you.

Today, we have a lot of fake everything. We have a lot of imitators. We have a lot of people who are not truthful about things. And, we don’t want to be caught in that. We want to be able to say, “I love Jesus!” But, then have some evidence!

John 14:21 KJV, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”

First, it says, “He that has my commandments and keeps them…” That’s the first evidence. Your obedience to Jesus and every command that He gives is the evidence that you really love Him. Your obedience to Him is what brings the evidence that you really do love Him. If He’s Lord, if He’s King of Kings, there must be evidence. There must be something that causes you to align yourself with your words and say, “I obey my King.”

The other one is, and He says it so well, “I will love him and will manifest myself to him.” So, the second evidence is a manifestation of His presence in your life. So, there are two simple things. I’m not going to be complicated today. There are two simple things that are the evidences that you really do love Jesus. You said, when I asked the question if you love Jesus, and the answer was, “Absolutely Yes! I love Jesus.” Here are two evidences that your statement is true.

It’d be better for you to find out that your statement isn’t true today, than to wait until you leave, because you won’t have any court to back you up. You’ll be guilty as charged! Can you say, “Lord, I hear you!”

The second one says that you manifest His presence in your life. Manifest means to shine or to break forth. To become an instrument or a channel that radiates Christ’s presence. When God is really in your life, there’s evidence that something is different about you.
